Hannah

If you want a little bit of comedy and a little bit of geeking out in a challenging Pilates class, Hannah is for you. She loves to make participants laugh in the middle of class (bonus ab work!) but she is also a nerd about proper form and precision. Her playlist vibe is an eclectic, multigenre mix, almost always including some throwbacks or unexpected covers.

Jenna

Jenna

Are you ready to get your butt kicked and feel strong? Are you ready for some tough (but motivating) love? If so, Jenna’s classes are for you! Jenna’s classes are a mix of challenging and fun of contemporary pilates with all the proper form and precision of classical pilates. Jenna will provide a fun and motivating class that will leave you feeling strong, energized and eager to come back for more. Her playlist are always fire (and yes Taylor Swift will be on there..) and will always include those bangers you use to listen to at the club that you’ll now use to get through the glute section of her class!

What makes me and my classes different is that I like to emphasize taking the time to be and feel. Inhabiting the body is one of the most important things to me. Being within the body requires dropping down out of the mind and feeling, and being honest about what is happening inside. I find this crucial both in and out of class.

What makes me different as a Pilates instructor is that I don’t come from a
movement background. I’ve been a hairdresser all my life, so I have a lot pain in
my body as a result. Pilates to me is medicine, and I approach it as a form of
physical therapy. You’re not going to get a burnout method workout from me, as I
focus more on the core principles and fundamentals…. I also really like to teach
a lot of classical choreography, just with a contemporary flair that can also be
tailored to help certain populations that are struggling with parts of their body that
may need rehab. As a proud Xennial there’s a good chance I’ll give you a fun
80’s playlist or some 90’s R&B.
